Top speed was a tic faster than the stall speed of that twin engine aircraft. Boat looks solid n fast! Put me down for 160+ that Beak looked to be haulin' azz.

Over the years Ive noticed that a lot of the Turbine projects are in non stepped hulls.

Is this because:
A. They have so much power that they dont need steps and achieve top speed effortlessly?
B. There is a benefit to a non stepped hull with turbine power?

Or is it something else?

Seeing this from start to finish gives me motivation for my smaller project. That’s badass!

129 top speed is my guess…although looks faster in some of those shots

Great job Andy I know that you and your team have worked very hard to get that boat to where it is. That boat is a step hull Fountain built by skater. It was originally raced as Dramamine and then raced for many years with yellow and blue graphics representing Pier 57. Great running boat. Andy is probably busy working on a nitro methane kerosene blend as we speak😁best of luck

This boat is a stepped hull, there isnt much difference in running turbines vs piston engines besides weight, power and fuel consumption.
