Boating on Thanksgiving day!
Having lived in the Northeast (NJ) all of my
life, boating on Thanksgiving day was only a
dream. Usually the boat was winterized,
shrink wrapped, and in storage, all for good
reason, well before the cooking of the
turkey. This year was different, having
moved to South West Florida (Port Charlotte)
several months ago, one more dream became a
reality.
The turkey was in the oven, my wife was
watching the NYC Parade. The eleven glass
panels making up much of the back of the
house were flung wide open. I walked through
the lani, past the pool and out the back of
the screen cage wearing my Bermudas, a
T-shirt and sun screen. I strolled down the
dock, switched the lift on and lowered the
boat. Rolled back the cover, fired off the
boat and went about 100 yard at idle.
Applied some power, jumped up on plane and
away we went. down the Myakka River, past the
Peace River, down Charlotte Harbor and back
just time to carve the turkey.
Dreams do come true!

I agree, you suck!!!!!!!!
Sure, tell us about moving the OL down south and then rub it in our face when you get to go boating while we are putting the down comforter on the bed.
Probably had a bikini or two with you right?? You suck.
Last night it broke the freezing mark for the first time. 31 degrees. Today is about 35.
I want to move to FL so bad. We like the Palm Coast area. It doesn't suck there.
So while we are waiting for it to snow, I'll think about how much you suck.
Gotta go tune up the snow blower.
Wasting away in NJ and wishing I sucked too.

I agree with you guys. It is already too damn cold. Bring on the warm weather. Don't want to wait the whole winter.

Actually Sick Nick and Joey Imprescia share a common fantasy to wit:
Each one strips naked and hoses the other one down on a sub zero winter's day. They then board a pair of 28' Skaters and open them to full throttle eastbound across Great South Bay, on Long Island.......
The final scene is a Bay Man watching open mouthed as 2 Skaters scream by..... each with a solidly frozen wraith behind the wheel........ Racing off to the hereafter.
Don't ask me...like I said....you can't make this stuff up.
T2x......... making a list...and checking its price.

I know where I'll be next Thanksgiving!
What are you doing Christmas Day?
Happy for you dude. It was just me and the wife this year, so we went to the Yacht Club on Lake Norman, they had a hell of a spread. Run into another couple we boat with, and we were having withdrawals. If it could have been just 20 degrees warmer.
Take care
