Default 2 x HP 500s = 96 on GPS = One bad boy

Tony from Bad Boy powerboats heard that some of you were skeptical as to the report of 96mph from his new bad boy.

See photos of the boat at.

This is the first hull out of the mold and is now being dialed in.

Here's the proof. Don't believe it? Then I guess he went 96 while trailering it on the Parkway. Either way. At some point, this boat hit 96mph according to the GPS tattle tale.

According to Smitty who was driving, there is more left as they were up against the limiters.

Thumbs up

Congratulations, I hope you get faster and win some races next year. Good luck, the more competition the better.

Curuois... What size props are you spinning and what gear ratio are in the drives?
I gather your turning them 5300rpm if your on the limiters?
With that information the math is easy and numbers tell the truth...
Good luck and looking foward to see what the final numbers are, sounds like you have a winning combo...

Tony says: 15 x 34 props 1.5 ratio. With O% slip this would make 114mph.

If he was turning those 34's at 5250 rpm's the math works out to be 99mph.
Thats fast,if he can turn those wheels on a stock boat he's really got something there.
Be interesting to see what the final numbers are...Good luck!
