Need new Web Host that meets my needs.

I have just purchased Photo Post PHP GMS for the purpose of streamlining my gallery. I have literally over a thousand images to galleryize (new word) and it take way too much time. It grows yearly. I just switched web hosts to get a little more advanced features and found out it is in too much of a box. No Telnet / SSH Access is the main glich. I need to have Imagemagick on the server and without Telnet / SSH access or a willing web host, this wont happen. Here are my needs as best as I can figure. I am no expert, just try to make people think I am. :D

What I would like to find is;

up to $20 per month

350 to 750 MB storage
Unix / Linux server
Telnet / SSH access
MySQL database
SSL included
PHP Safe mode OFF
Perl
SSI
Private CGI-BIN
a dozen email addresses
a reasonable amount of bandwidth, say 5 or 10 gig.

I don't think I forgot anything.
Does this sound like an unreasonable request?

Any other features anyone can suggest would be appreciated. I plan to run vBulletin and PhotoPost GMS and maybe Pro in the future. I think Telnet access is a must for backing up data on vBulletin. I also run a shopping cart, but I think I can create that myself with the right tools. Just need the SSL.

Thanks for the help. Maybe Puder can help. I just don't want him typing anything for me.:D ;)

Whatever happened to ol NickSlick? I think he had a neat web hosting system.

Godaddy.com only offers 50mb of storage. I am using almost 3 times that right now. Thanks for the suggestion though.

What DID happen to Nickslick?

Check out JNJHost. The owner is an OSO brother and he's done a great job as the host for my website. You can e-mail him at [email protected]

Let me know if you find all that and 750MB for $20. Your best bet may be your own server.

I use verio.com, great service but no where near that storage space for the dollars.

JNJ comes pretty close, but at $25 they don't offer SSL.

D_Casten, I have 750MB now for $9.95 per month. I add $5 for MySQL database access and another $5 for SSL. so a total of $19.95. The only thing they don't have that I need is Telnet / SSH.

I did find one that looks interesting. DreamHost.com offers everything I need except only 450MB of storage. I think I can live with that. It is $19.95 per month and $24.95 with SSL. They have everything else I need and more. Unless something else pops up today, I am going with these guys.

Thanks

I can do it! The only thing is the SSL is not in yourname.com. Call me at 949-833-5727 or email me at [email protected].

The prices on my site are the everyday visitor. I will customize the account for you!

Lot's of references, RiverRacerX.com, Rivertoys.com, SCOPEinfo.com, and more if you need 'em.
