Big Thunder just rcvd a number of the Invictus Boats, from a 20 to a 43. ALL have the European look, and they have already had a number of sales. Though not my personal style, there is people that are excited by the look.

At the employee Xmas gathering, Fred told the BTM crowd there is a number of changes in the future, compared to what we have seen for styling in the past. Plus add in the classic styling of the US made lines, Things are going to be very interesting in the near future.

I have said for the last couple of years I was going to have a euro cruiser brought out to the lake as my 2nd boat. Vanquish, VanDutch, or similar would be a nice change from the Sea Ray armada at LOTO currently. Glad I wasn't the only one seeing a nice boat as a change from the same old, same old.

War ship versus pleasure boat, hmmm. This last picture has curvature at the bow of ship and looks better aesthetically and probably functioned much better when driving through large seas head-on.

The trend of blunt bow pleasure boats seems to want to revive an era the late 1800’s - as shown in the first picture you posted of the blunt bowed ship; if the vessel is a displacement vessel designed ship or motor yacht I could understand the rationale for a blunt bow, maybe to look different, but the blunt bow on a planing vessel - trendy I guess, definitely not for me.

We all have different opinions and tastes.

My $0.02 opinion for the day.

And don’t get me started on the trendy primer grey/gray looking paint jobs - absolutely not for me ever.

As long as the Euro male swimwear doesn't start showing up at the lake...

Well at least they will be true length, no one can say the curvature is adding to it! LOL

I couldn't agree more. The inverted keel at the bow is just fugly if you ask me.

I couldn't disagree more. I LOVE the flat "Earth" colors we have been seeing recently on cars, and have always wondered if a light, flat grey would work for a boat. If I ever win the lottery, I will be calling Neal at PQ and discussing just such an option.

Thanks. Brad.

The Vanquish hulls are twin stepped, and very efficient. A little different construction method than we’re used to in the US though as they are aluminum.
