What is this winterization which you speak of?

I’ve finally gotten smart to the false dawns and over excitement of the first warm weather. I typically get everything out of the garage and give it the smoke test, but I don’t start putting things on the boat lifts until it’s truly warm weather season. I’ll likely run things tomorrow but hold off until May before dunking anything

Looks like I’m going for it in April. I’ll throw one of those 100W trouble lights in the bilge that Sydwayz recommended for good measure. Let the boating begin.

SecondWind,

We had our boat out mid-April last year here in SW Ohio. We're hoping to do the same this year.

Had a friend buy a wetsuit specifically so had can now say he skied in April in Ohio.

Thanks. Brad.

The ZR doesn’t come out until there’s basically no chance of prolonged freezing as it’s in an unheated building. But as soon as there’s a good 60 degree Saturday or Sunday day we’re usually water bound with one of the little boats.

This is the time of year when I’m sick of projects around the house and the whole fam is chomping at the bit

I recently downloaded the Accuweather App. It gives you highs and lows up to 45 days out. I see the weekend of April 13-14 has highs in the mid 60s and no freezing lows to follow. Not sure how accurate weather prediction is 45 days out but it’s a target today!
