I did this for years when I kept my Slickcraft outside all winter. A small battery tender and a 75 watt bulb and the engine cover and then the full cover... Never had any issues. But the bulbs we have now are a lot less reliable though so you'd probably wanna make sure you can see it at night or have 2 of them in there. I've been on multiple test runs already this winter. If it was like this every winter life would be great. The difference between NO boating for 5 months and limited test runs is huge.
