Haven't dropped a one. I'm so tired by the end of the week of that damn tumor strapped to my ass, I don't even THINK of taking it with me boating. That's our free time, our recreation (the wife always seems to have one with her anyway).
I could do just fine without all these fax machines and cell phones- a new disease for the new millenium.
Can you remember what you did when you didn't have one?

I was working on a buddies boat, the phone fell out of my clip to the bottom of the bilge. It's amazing what an inch of water will do. I had the insurance, but what a pain in the a$$.

Lost one Motorola StarTac in Tierra Verde this past year. Actually my wife lost it for me. Luckily work bought me another one so I did not have to take it out of her ass!

there is a waterproof phone ( I really doubt it). It is called an o2. All my boating buddies in Germany have them. They claim you can get it soaked and it still works.

Droped the Ericsson T28z one time, jumped in and fished it out. Let it dry for 48 hours, has worked fine every since.

Just don't ask me about the Maui Jim's Mrs. Toys, please, just one more pair. I promise to wear the floaty this time!

I am on my seventh nextel started with them three years ago(I guess that is over 2 a year). All are currently at the bottom of Lake of the Ozarks except one that fell in the bilge of a Baja. Last i90 is right outside Shooters in case anybody wants it!
