Kaama....You asked how the Fountain owners respond to their boats actually being three feet shorter than the actual LOA????
That sure is a stupid question cause they are not three feet shorter....they are five feet shorter...three with the beak and two with the swim step!!!!!

I use to own a 38 Fever and I would answer it the best way possible.... First of all, I would slap on my Fountain jewelry with my black jacket and pants and tell the folks, "This them thar Fountain is the fastest, safest, best handling high performance boat in the world! I would just throw that ole cowboy in the engine compartment and have them check the all!!!! Then I would have them feel that genuiiiine solf North Carolina leather!!!
Then I would show them the video clip of me....er I mean Reggie going by those them thar other racers and saying, "Holy cow, look at this baby run....we are only at 5,000 RPM's...and then hear me, er I mean Reggie yell at Sonny Crocket, "Buy, buy Movee Staa!"

By this time, everyone is totally confused and I would just go about my business....sure made owning a Fountain very challenging!!!

DMan...and the is for, "I love Deception!"

Sounds like you two have some personal problems with your units...just like your boats!!!!!! They sound similar!!!!!

Deceptive size
Stress cracks
Lamination problems
leaky tanks
low freeboard
too fast!!!!!!!!
flat bottom
pointed at the end
jarring ride
mass produced
broken stringers
lots of advertising
it's stepped!!!!!

DMan...and the D is for Dropped you guys back in the grease!!!!

The fountain thing is the same ole problem that still persists time and time again.

Where do you actually measure your unit from? Is it from the base to the tip, or from the balls to the tip???
