Dreaming 45 amp well the alternator places a load and the efficiency of an electric motor?? LOL the couple dream horsepower will be well consumed in the “Inefficiency” of the charging system and the electric motor on the forced air induction.

Those "superchargers" have been around a long time & are STILL a POS.....Since you're on the subject though...Have any of you tried the "thing" (I can't remember the name of the product but it has been advertised on TV many times) that you place inside the intake tube on your motor & is supposed to increase HP by "swirling" the incoming air for better combustion???The theory makes sense & they chassis dynoed a car before & after (Chevy Impala SS) & it gained almost 20 HP!?!?!?It looks like it's a quality piece of work & I'll take an extra 20HP for less than a 100 dollars ANY day...Anybody have one or have any thoughts???

That guy has been posting the same ad for several months now. I applaude him, but it's a hopeless cause. Ebay is endorsing and encouraging the behavior by not shutting the fraud down. Ebay is supposedly insuring purchases up to $100. I wonder what is happening with all those insurance claims? Remember-if you want to rip somebody off, "Do it on Ebay."

Those "bilge superchargers" wuld go up to over 200$!!

That swirl the air doohickey was called a Vortex I believe.
And at what speed would a car have to travel to eventually make the "bilge blower turbo" a hinderance to your motor by providing less cfm than say......an 80 mph wind created by your cars velocity???? Mike |
