Hey got a question for ya. I have a friend wanting some prop work done and I'm trying to get him to send his prop to ya. Anyway, his boat was at my house and before I put it away for him in the polebarn for winter storage I took his prop off. Educate me now...when I took his prop off, he has the mirage plus (?) it was different than my mirage. It had some kind of thing within the hub that slid off the shaft with the prop. What is it? And what is the difference between my mirage and his mirage plus?

SOUNDS COLD! MIKE The difference is the plus is a thicker prop than the older mirage, thats why everyone wants them thinned out and the newer props like the mirage plus have the plastic flo-torque hub insert which you can replace yourself /the older style mirage has a rubber hub on the inside which is pressed in .other than that they fit the same pitching molds ,oh the dont say mirage plus on the side:D :D The washer is called a thrust washer that goes on before all props ,then prop,then brass castellated collar,and you know the rest:cool: hope I made some sense/Darin:rolleyes:

we got in about 10:00 and just now walked in the door /from i-10 go n.to i-45and 1960 go west on 1960 4 miles to kuykendahl ,turn right on kuykendahl one mile on the right. ;)
