looks like a Worlock to me.....good lines could lose the platform but the thing that impressed me was the value, find me another boat with 500's steering and a trailer in the magazine for under 150k....most advertised prices in the mags are way high....got to build in the profit margine. I couldnt get a Sonic with 500's for that!!!

Originally posted by KAAMA Dyno/Don, The Kachina is a nice looking boat, but It's looks and appearance is way too typical of a west coast/California style boat for me. It doesn't have the appearance of a true offshore. Actually Don, I think your Sonic looks much better than the Kachina design. It's only my opinion. Mark And in true west coast styling, Kachina is already tooling another deck for the 34 and they are calling it the Bolero. It will look more like the rest of their line. Both decks will be available as options. |
Where can I get a set of those removable wind deflectors? Those are cool!

Payton, I have seen them in the back of the boating mags. I even posted a link to them once when someone was contemplating his decision to buy a Sonic, when his wife wanted a windshield boat. I will see if I can find the link.

Brian, the ones on the Kachina are different. it Looks like there are bars that slide down into a reciever. Windaway clamps to the windshild. Finney makes one that is similar to the one on the Kachina except it mounts to a grabrail.

I called Finney's. They make a few windshields for Kachina, but not that one. They said to call Kachina. I'll have to do that.

I read the article in P.B. a very nice ride, it ran 79.4 and the article stated a little chop would have loosened up the hull a bit and added a few miles an hour to the top end, plus the engines were still tight, you can also add a few rpm's when they loosen up, I like it, for the money it is a first class ride

Kachina makes a real nice boat. I have two friends going on their 4th year on a Kachina and they are bullet proof. Plus, the owner Louie will take the extra steps to ensure your happy with every last detail. (Knowing Louie, he will probably be the first one to go party with you on it to)

Having spoken to the owner a few times he did sound like a great guy who stands behind his product better than a few west coast boats I have owned. I would look at them for my next boat.
