The wheels and tires are in the works. Not sure what wheels but the tires are going to be 235/85 BFG KO's. There E rated, 32 1/2" tall and keep a nice narrow footprint for the snow.

I now have my 3dr BB with this things 7.4. Also the 4.11 gears, heavy duty tranny and the extra coolers for oil and tranny fluid.

I've changed my ways and am not going near an automatic car wash with this thing. I've figured that the visor along with the bug and and window shields would get ripped right off

Good points...I had both on my Bronco, bug shield and visor...The bug shield becomes a very large projectiles when exposed to "drying air" at carwashes.

Learned my lesson the hard way.

That sounds nice. You know what they say....Shoes make the man and wheels make the truck Another cool thing is the air deflector by lund for the back. It keeps the window clear and will look nice with the visor. I really like those visors.

Hey Kohldog,
I now have a 95 Tahoe w/ 5.7 and love it. However, I'm looking to move up in boat size in the next year. I've been looking for a Big block Burb for about a month now. It seems that there is a bunch of 99's out on the market (lease turn in's ?). What is the tow rating on them? Most around here are going from about 20k to 25k.

Thanks, Craig

Craig, This is probably a lease turn in as well. The tow rating on the 7.4 with the 4.11 gears is #10,000. My boat is #7,000+ wet on the trailer. My 1/2 ton pulled it but I was never happy with how it did. This one has the power, suspension and bigger brakes so I'm thinking it will work out a lot better. Strangely, this truck with the 7.4 is rated higher than the deisel which is only rated at #8,000.

There are a lot of 99 1/2 tons out there but not very many 3/4's with the BB and 4.11 gears in this area. It took me quite a while of searching to find one with lower miles and the setup I wanted.

Thumbs up

Hey, we had one of them there inferior trucks too! (1999 GMC Suburban) That was a great vehicle but it was time to replace it with the Yukon. Do you think the Yukon will make the 2002 inferior truck hit parade? Gee, I hope so!

Congrats on the truck

Craig, Here is a link to the spec sheet for the 99's. Spec Sheet

Playn, I'm betting most of the trucks owned by OSOers are on the list!

Thanks for the info Kohldog. That's what i'm going to get. It looks great and I'm sure you will enjoy it!!

Craig

PS Notice that on the report, they are basing that on the 5.7 engine the 454 must off the charts!!

My son bought the same thing three weeks ago tomorrow(only gold flairs and trim on the bottom). BB and all the toys , had true duals and Flowmasters put on yesterday , I like it .
I think I'll start looking myself. Can't wait to try it in the spring. Gotta do better than my Tahoe

Good luck with it Kohldog
