Default Boat Service for Mercruiser power?- Saint Pete, FL

Maximo Marina is located right down the canal from where i live. Since it is located so close I have decided to give them a shot in servicing my boat but don't know their reputation good or bad. Has anyone ever had any experiences with them that they could share with me to help me sleep better at night.

As far as other service shops in saint petersburg, steve david spoke highly of gene weeks at thunder marine. Thank you steve, that coming from you means a great deal.

What other service shops in saint petersburg are good and which ones should i avoid like the plague?

Thanks for you thoughts!

Maximo has a decent shop, but they are your ordinary, run of the mill kind of place. Don't expect too much. Opinions vary greatly, some good, some bad, some really bad.

Undoubtedly, for any serious or major work, Gene is tops around here. Thunder is the place to go!

You can also speak to the folks at Lightning Bay. They are an eliminator dealer as well as many high-performance consignment. They have a good shop there.

Chalk one up for Offshore Addiction. I've dealt with them and seen, first hand the work they do. Check my buddies Falcon - Offshore Addiction did the restoration.
