usually, it's the weekend before labor day
weekend, dont know the exact date's,
it's late, i've been over served, i don't
have a 2003 calander handy.
for $ 25 bucks a run, you can find out,
how fast (or slow) your boat REALLY is
on smooth water, usually 90 plus degree's,
you have radio commentary to boot !
i've ran it the last few year's, it's
fun, it's for a good cause.

( but, the most fun is when it's over for
the day, when everybody leaves, going towards the
east, the lake turns into a "witches caldron",
cruiser wakes, etc,
then you REALLY get to run these things
in the conditon they were made for)

Yup. Weekend before Labor Day. I ran in it this year for the first time. What a riot. Unfortunately I was one of those who found out how SLOW his boat is!! LOL!!!

As far as leaving the event at the end of the day, make sure everything is put away, and all your hatches are really secure!!! It is REALLY rough. A washing machine is calmer than this!!! This year KCHotboat and I spent more time in the air than the water just cutting across the lake to go to Backwater Jacks!!! What a riot!!!! Oh, and I beat him there, no matter what he says!! LOL!!!!

There are a LOT of OSO members at this event, and we try to all tie up together to watch the runs. Some good times are had by all!!!!!
