Speed Limit Alert!!!

I was thinking the other day (me thinking? that's dangerous) the term "SLOW SPEED - NO WAKE" implies not only a no wake zone but that there's a speed limit. I believe it's stated at 5 MPH (4 knots) or less.
So, lets say they do impose the no wake zones, then even a snail boat traveling under wind power moving at any speed greater than 5 mph is in direct violation of the law. I guess the blow boats wouldn't be exempt from the ruling either. Or at least they shouldn't be.
Just a thought.

You're right Iggy, and I am sure many people will make sure they get treated equally when it comes time to issue tickets.

I was at the last NJ Boat Regulation Commission meeting. The only new proposition on the docket was to ban Kyaks and Canoes from the Pt. Pleasant Canal.
There is also an upcoming seat vacancy on the Commission. Someone here has thrown their hat into the nomination process
