I'd like to see education for all boaters not just powerboaters.
Most sailboaters assume they always have right of way and sometimes create dangerous situations for all boaters based on their lack of knowledge.
I think public awareness is also something that needs to be addressed. Most people don't understand that performance boats are safe in the hands of responsible people. They need to understand that someone going fast is not a nut. However, we need education and STRICT enforcement of the existing laws to weed out the nuts from the rest of us. This will help relieve some of the tension on the bay.
NJPPC has been doing a great job.
