I had a 1998 Velocity 260 with a blown 540, 800 hp, 104mph on GPS. Traded last year to a Velocity VR1 with the same motor set up. Still dialing it in. Looking for 107mph. By the way, I went through five drives last summer. Problemed solved with new unit
from Emco.
P.S. Dialing in my partner's Velocity 390 with twin KE 675's. To get a glimpse of this boat, check out WWW.4bigboytoys.com. Go fast or go home!

This motor powers my 1989 27' Activator. I did not build this engine therefore I have no idea what it is or what hp it produces.
It came in the boat that I bought this year.
Supposedly it is a 496" Stroker.

Default 700 Plus HP?

Never dynoed, but comparable motors have made 750 plus on Lukavich Racing's dyno. 498" Chev with 13.2:1 compression, fully ported 325 Pro 1 heads, comp solid roller cam (272/280 @.050 on 112+4, .714" lift), full MSD, Nickerson stage 5 1050, Merlin single plane, Jesel shaft rokers, and many other goodies. Pushes my Baja 210 to a best GPS speed of 97.8 MPH.

632" NA on 93 Octane makes 900HP / 820 ft/#. 10.5:1 fully ported Dart 360's, dart tunnel ram, 2X775 Race Demons, solid schubeck 280/288 @.050 on 115 -2, .730 lift, Jesel shaft rockers....and a 400HP NOS kit (tuned @175)in case any singles or (multiple) egg beater powered hulls get too close

Default HP

Merc 454/425 Bravo1 Motor has been rebuilt. Gil offshore exhaust and a bigger Ultradyne cam. I'm thinking 450-470 HP
