That is impressive increase in speed. Equally impressive that there were no problems if they put many hours on it. I have heard that that motor doesn't have good internal componets for that kind of application.

thanks for the input

I put a M1 procharger on a bone stock carbed 1996, 454 (330hp stock)He's got over 300 trouble free hrs. And this guy only knows 2 throttle positions. Idle and WOT!!!! I jetted the carb using a EGT gauge. I highly recomend installing an EGT gauge, for under $200.oo it's good cheap insurance.

My 502 mpi mag has over 200 hrs trouble free, but I have done some mods to that one.
Gil exhaust, 50 lbs injectors, reprogramed ECU, 2 bar map sensor, and EGT gauge.
Oh, and if you go that route, and have further questions. Ask us, not procharger. The guys on this forum have better knowledge than anyone

The 454 was in a big bulky 4200lbs 22 foot Searay bow rider. it gained 12 MPH. he went from a 23 pitch to a 28 pitch.

The 502 was in my 1999 230SX stingray, That went from 72 MPH to 88.9 MPH 16+MPH. I went from a 25 pitch to a 31.5 labbed prop spinning just under 5200 rpm.
