Question Question for 2002-2003 GM Dually Owners

I just purchased a 2003 GMC Dually 4X4 and want to get aftermarket rims. I知 getting conflicting information about which rims will fit. I知 being told that in either 2002 or 2003 the hub diameter changed and that just about any rim I buy won稚 fit. Does anybody have any experience with aftermarket rims on their GM dually? If so, which rim?

Thanks
Dan

The rims on 01 up are different than the 00 down rims. Not sure where you can get any aftermarket.

There was a discussion about this only a month or two ago.

It seems that the only difference is that the holes for the stud are larger on the new ones. There were a couple of guys that bought the 00 wheels and had them machined to fit.

Try the search on this one. They had some pictures posted also.

The only difference is the center hub of the wheel .I put alcoa wheels for a 88-00 dually on my 02 and had to have the centers machined out 34 thousands. That is the only thing you have to do and it will work fine.

Thanks for the feedback. I found the earlier thread that was mentioned and will try to contact Rob Stringer to find what he ultimately did with his Dually.
