I agree with steve, it wil happen, but not just yet. heck if some one would build a realy BIG rotarty they could theoreticaly spin a cat to 200. or just cube a v engine enough, (look at the tourque v-12's) maybee get a couple of allisons turbo supercharged and it could happen sooner. but a v bottom??? no thanks not without wings and a propeller. heck I know of v bottom anphipious aircraft that only go 140 in the air!!!!

sy goldberg was tellign me teh othe rday abotu the 1000 island poker run. He was ina 42 something or other and they were running 102. The fiore's pulled up next to them (from out of nowhere) saw sy recoginzed him and figured they'd show off a little, slammed the throttles down and took of as if the boat sy was on was standing still.....

OR, just build the proper designed cat at the proper weight!

I know Fusco averaged 177 in the New York Poker run. He did some mods to the engines and is running just shy of 200 on any given day.

The last time Sy was running 102 he had a bad fever...:p
