Default KC / OP boat shows

Happy Holidays to all.

The boating season is about to gear up again and to kick it off in January I understand there are 2 boat shows in KC. One down at Bartle and the other in the new convention center in Overland Park.

Who knows the low down on these shows??? Water Moose , Cramer any other dealers that may watch this board and participitate in these shows??? clue us in.

KC OSO'rs lets hook up and ck these shows out.

Happy Holidays to all !!!.

the first show at bartle hall is the sports show and is mainly bass boats. I believe dealers can only take 25' and smaller boats. Not the best show for most of you guys. That one runs the 7th - 12th @ Bartle. Normally Lake Port and Port Arrowhead are about the only LOTO dealers there.

The one at the new OP convention center should be comparable to the one at the old trade center that usually runs the first wk. of March. From what I understand a lot of LOTO dealers and much larger boats. Definately the one to go to out of the two for larger boats and performance boats as well. Not sure on the dates, but I think maybe the last wknd. of Jan.

The Overland Park one is 1/22 - 1/26. It usually has a good selection of performance boats.

Downtown one isn't worth going to unless you're into runabouts, bass boats, or pontoons.

How about a saturday 1/25 outing, then onto Nick & Jakes for some dinner and drinks? Anybody game?
