New Dodge Hemi?
 

OK what gives I was on the dodge web site and it let me build a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with an optional Hemi motor. BUT when i went to my local dodge dealer To Buy the truck, The salesman said "sorry You can NOT get a 1500 4x4 with the new Hemi" It only goes in the heavy duty 2500 series.????? What gives?? :mad:

you CAN get it.. I have ordered many... I'll bet I could even find one on a lot localy for you

oh yea... your local dealer is a putz..it has been 2 months since I left the dodge dealer I was at and I could order them then... and I think my PW to the dodge locater still works

if you can't get it why is my brother driving around in his? Try a different dealer.

Gary, what kind of mileage is your brother getting with his?

I own a 1998 Ram SST with a 360 Mag now. So I see once again The saleman is an @#%^&&^** HOw does your brother like it? I am dying for an all white ram 1500 hemi 4x4

he has had it for about a week. so far it seems to get the same as my 360 is getting. he does have a heavy foot, he was told it would get 10% better mileage than the 360 but has not so far.

he will get 10% better but only AFTER
1)it breaks in a bit
2)he quits wailing the snot out of the 100 extra hp the hemi has over the 360..... even if it the same 100 more hp

And he has this hemi in a 1500 series NOT a 2500 series? Damn this saleman. I may call around a few more dodge dealer's today!
