Default I shot a 50 calliber rifle today!!!

Well......no I did not shoot it but my friend did. WOW, what a weapon . I was standing about 5 feet away and it felt like an M-80 went off in my chest! The recoil was fierce, but very accurate. This thing is over 60" long. I am not big on guns but this was a cool experience. Maybe someday I will have the balls to pull the trigger.

Yea, it has a tripod, it mountes towards the end of the stock, this baby weighs almost 30 lbs! He was shooting at 300 yds. Missed dead center bullseye by about 2". on his 6th shot. We have it on video but I do not know how to post it.

I nearly bought a Barret light .50 ten years ago. Talk about a cool weapon! Clip fed semi auto ........ .50 cal accurate up to and beyond 1 mile! Same gun seal snipers use (at least in the movies)
Very cool. The coyotes around here would not have stood a chance!
Glad I didn't though, I would probably have gone to jail during the Clinton admin.

Next time you go to a shooting range ask to shoot a 450 or a 45-70 belted round revolver. Idf they don't have one try out the 50ae desert eagle. A good shoudler load is the 2 1/4 oz. 3.5" turkey load in a light 12 gauge is pretty cool.

Now THAT is a handgun!! Great fun to shoot, but after the 7th or 8th round, hand starts getting a little sore. Not to mention it's about $2 a shot.
