Originally posted by John B New boat with 4 motors, it was backing in at the ramp and the rear never floated...........hello........goodbye I was there and watched it sink at Harborfest. Big a$$ thunder storm was coming. All boats hurrying to tie up after the fire works. Driver of the 47' Outer Limits threw it in reverse (supposedly someone cut him off) while still moving forward. Had the (large) K-planes down and the engine hatch up a little. His own wake came up over his transom and filled the compartment. With the weight of 4 engines plus ????gallons of h20. We all watched as is stood straight up on end and went down. :( :( ..By the way, that picture was taken in 32' of water and the drives were resting on bottom.  |

I heard the boat was scuttled off Ft Laud when they got it out one of the pickup hoses was off, bad thing was his insurance only covered him in the Great Lakes and not in the ocean..............
