27' pachanga

Bingo...had one of those too. 1989 27' single Mag Bravo. Would run 59 MPH @ 4900 RPM swinging a 19" or 21" mirage (can't remember which) Good boat...dry soft ride (much nicer ride than 32' Pac) most comfortable/sleepable cabin I have ever seen in a boat that size by far. I slept like a baby in that boat. Those Pachanga bolsters were pretty damn cool also. With a single you could mount some boxes in the engine comp. and take some SERIOUS gear w/you, those boats had a big deep hull. Ended up putting a blown 454 in that boat and going 73 MPH or so. Other guys would chit when they saw that big Pac moving like that and then one drive hangin' off the back (this was 1990...reality check). They are alot of usable boat for what they can be bought for now. MSRP was $56,xxx w a single Mag Bravo, no shorepower. Any help? To put it in perspective, the small block boats would run 65MPH and the 330 boats would run 69-70MPH. My friend is a SeaRay dealer and several of us ran 27 Pacs back then.
