It's how well you go fast
the higher the octane #....the less btu it has....in short, run 87 in that engine....

racers...yeah we also pay near 4 bucks per gal to go slower!

maybe its all the additional weight of the new paint what kind of rpms are you spinning if its the same and your using the same props maybe its your speedo, and if your using a gps now and werent then, then maybe you havent lost the 7 mph and in that case go back to your old speedo to find it.
it sounds as if you change quite a few things and its just a matter of dialing back. did you change props gears etc.?
