Q about buying used books from amazon?

I am considering buying BLUE THUNDER from Amazon.com.
It says that all they have is used and they make it sound like you are buying from an induvidual.

Anyone know how this works? is it hassle free? and are you guarenteed to get your book?

1990 Baja 190 DSR
worked for me.

bought a book for school, 3$ plus shipping, cheaper than the gas it would cost to get to the store to buy it.

It has worked for me also, but you are right in that you aren't buying directly from Amazon.

Whoever's boat I'm riding in that day!
Just bought several used books for school. All turned out great. Shipping was more than what the books cost!

So, do you deal with amazon or with the seller?

The transaction goes through amazon, but the dealer or idividual will mail you the book.

I bought Speed Kills and Blue Thunder through amazon, and have not had a problem. But you will probably pay more through amazon then buying on e-bay.

Outerlimits..thanks Brian
I bought Speed Kills and Blue Thunder from Amazon. Haven't received Blue thunder yet and it was ordered and paid for over a month ago. Speed Kills arrived right on time and was VERY interesting reading. I guess that it's just the juck of the draw with these independant sellers.

Cheers,

Andy
