Big Block Music

I used to have an 18 foot squirt boat with a hardin marine LS6..OPEN 3 inch chrome pipes ...Talk about way too much attention! Bring em in close then hose em down with the jetovator.. I miss that thing .. Now I love the sound of twin tweaked 2.4 mercs screming when the props break ..
Yup talk or tunes when you get there..

I LOVE the sound of the engines but I can choose if I want it loud or quiet. My wife loves the engines LOUD but she doesn't pay for the tickets.

Ya, I'm not much for conversation while underway. I am too busy driving and listening to my motor. We can talk when we get where we are going.
What Dave M has said speaks volumes for me as well. The instant I begin to push the throttles forward to plane off I am "IN THE BUBBLE"---- a zone of my own little world and I do NOT hold any conversations. Once on plane I only communicate when I need to. I am for the most part, concentrated on listening to my engines, watching for traffic and where I am going while constantly glancing at the guages. I don't mind conversing while idling through a channel or no wake zone, but I DO NOT allow music being played in my boat while idling or any time the engines are running---PERIOD! I can't understand why some people try to listen to tunes over the sound of the engines---it's like the music is competing with the volume of the engines and they practically blow everyone out of the boat by turning it up!-----then on top of that some want to try and hold a conversation  Of course when you're a guest on someone elses boat you don't always have much say. They only time the music is allowed on in MY boat is when the engines are OFF!
