I beleive "Hercules" was imported
by a guy here in california, He now is in the Ventura Calif area Close to "TANK" on the Board. I raced MX and Desert from 1958 to 1975 in the SoCal and western States. Any Old desert racers out there?? I was in the Viewfinders MC. Mike J. |
We've got a Penton 125 (green tank, I think) that we need to sell (at the bike/jetski shop). Runs great. Needs very little to be perfect. Tank excellent, leather tank strip intact. Speedo cracked, but have a fresh one for it. Biggus, you know Anybody that might be interested?
Jan, my buddy also has an intact and good-running IT490 if you're interested. Pretty sure its a 5-speed. His kids just got into bikes and stuff, but they have all gravitated towards 4-wheelers and now he has no use for the big Yammer. It kind of scares him, anyhow. ****** I also got a few old geezers in my collection: 1974 XL250 with a Powroll hi-comp piston. old Vespa 1978 RM80 1973 Z50 1974 XR75 Got a Husky 390, also (sold my 74 Husky 250CR last yr) I'm currently looking for an old-man dirtbike. Either a fairly current KDX200/220 or a thumper hotrod along the lines of a WR250/426/450 or KLX300 or Suzook DRZ250/400 (with the electric leg). Would also consider any raging deal on a lesser thumper (TTR225/250, XR250/400). I need something to ride with my kids. I still got my old batch of mxers that are in ready-to-race condition, but they just aren't the ticket for trail riding with 10-yr olds (stop-n-go is hard on me since I fall over a lot in the woods going slow - never could touch the ground on my mxers, but didn't need to like you do in the woods). |
