If there is no reserve why start the bidding at 30k ?

Wouldn't 30k be the reserve.

I hate it when they do that on ebay.

30 k is the least they would take...its a sweet deal for anyone that wants to strip it and sell the parts.

you could probably make 20 or 30k once you sell all the parts

yahoo... thats because thats the least they will take, and they dont want to pay the extra money to list it w a reserve, makes sense for them money wise but most of the time the auctions with the high starting bids never get too much action, high priced items or low makes sense to start bids high unless its a highly sought after item, otherwise set a reserve no matter what it is, seems to always work better, for ,me any how, unless you dont care what you get for it,

it was totalled by the insurance co. anyway, im sure. so this is good money to the person selling it as salvage. Add the numbers...3 hp500s 20 - 30 k pumps100 each, generator, electronics, 3 drives 2500ea , tabs 1000,upholstery, trailer 5k, ect ect ect ..theres way more than 30 k worth of parts if someone is willing to make the investment. i would consider it if i had an extra 30k lying around.

This boat crashed on Lake Mead back in 1998 and four people were killed. That stuff has been sitting in the hot AZ sun for nearly 5 years.

Who knows how old those pics are? It looks like some parts were already missing. By the time you got your hands on it it might not be such a great investment.
