Wow. That really has to be some telescope. But it doesn't surprise me, optics are incredible these days.
I read a report a couple days ago about an Australian Astronomer, who works at an observatory down under. In his free time He would gaze at passing satelites and the shuttle from time to time. He got some startling images of the damage of the left wing and attempted to file a breif with NASA...He was basically told not to worry about, that they had already declared it not a problem.....

What Bush needs to do is fire every one of the NASA Politician/in touch with my feminine side/Killed 14 people Staff .And hire a real crew of Engineers!!
And close that Insult Johnson space headquarters in Texas and move everything to the Cape
This is bullcrap there is protocols in place for just such an emergency IE: Lesions learned from the Challenger disaster.
Where the Shuttle is landed back at the Cape or in Africa depending on the Launch time frame.
The Old Can Do NASA Hell I would fly with them if the shuttle was made from Paper Mache.
This new bunch of “ Liberals and Affirmative Action Qualified Nitwits” is way past just Dangerous and not just only to themselves but everyone that they fly over….and that crew needs to find other work Maybe driving a Cab or something like Landscaping!! Maybe Tom can find them a Job Arranging Flowers.or working for Bayliner.
In Short I am Disgusted with them .
