What not to do when cleaning boat
The weather has been so amazing lately in the Bay Area (CA) that I brought my boat home to charge up the batteries and give it a quick cleaning. So I was polishing up the exhaust tips and when I was done and getting up, I bumped my head on the friggin trim tab and put a nice slice on my head. So I have blood running down my head and face, and put the dirty rag on it to stop the bleeding before I could run in the house and get a clean towel. Luckily, no stiches needed, but I have an ugly bloody one inch line right at my hair line. Hopefully the chrome polish and grease etc. won't infect my head too bad.

grease is good for cuts , kills bacteria:rolleyes:
Ever notice how bright red blood looks when your hands are black from oil and grease. |
Ahh yes.. the revenge of the tabs... got to love that....
Or how about "the boat bites back"? |
I've hit my head on both tabs and pipes:o :o :D

That reminds me when I was about 12, I was helping my dad take an alternator out of his truck. When he removed one bolt, it pivoted and damn near cut my finger off. His response? "Don't bleed on the machinery!" :D :D |
