All mathematical possibilities are the same symbol.

It worked every time for me. The question is HOW? I did notice that the every time you try it, the symbols don't stay with the same numbers. They get mixed up.

He has all the possibilities already figured out. The symbols repeat themselves in the display. Find the answer and don't press the crystal ball. Then try another combination and look for the answer without pressing the crystal ball, it is the same symbol for a different number. The spacing between the symbols is gets less each time this is where his mathematical formula comes in to rule out all possibilities.

I guess my first port was too ambiguous. The only mathematical combinations for a 2 digit number minus the sum of the digits are as follows : 81,72,63,54,45,36,27,18,9 and 0 if you didn't listen to the instructions saying to use a 2 digit number. ex. 8-8=0 otherwise 56 - (5+6) or 11 = 45. etc. The symbols in any given turn will be the same for every number I have listed. the symbol changes for all numbers each time you click the glass. If it doesn't work for you it is time to go back to school and learn arithmatic.

Every possible answer is divisible by nine. Did anybody finish high school?
