World record is 4096 feet. Damn, that's sneaking up on a mile!!

If your confused, it's a pumpkin throwing contest. These guys have built some amazing machines to do this. Air cannons throw the farthest, followed by cintrifigal throwers (picture a big propeller with a pumpkin on the end of it).

Simply amazing!!! Brings out the real redneck in all of us!!!

Team from Howell, MI won this year. 3888 feet. We got us some awsome rednecks round these parts.

That was a cool show.

THis happens right in our back yard it seems like...or maybe more like a half hour away. We go with a motor home and stay all weekend and Waterfoul you are right. It is the best "Redneck" Activity on the face of the planet. So much fun its hard to describe.

Maybe we should take a lesson, and begin adding potato guns and punkin cannons to our boats. Hmmmmmm...

It would make for interesting racing.
