Thanks to 2 OSO members!
I just wanted to say thanks to two OSO members. Aqua-Holic for selling me a GREAT bike and FlyinBrian for bringing it down to me on his way to Ft. Myers. Thanks to this board I was able to get connected to both of these guys and make this happen.
THANKS I cant seem to say this enough!
Matt(Aqua) was Honest and a pleasure to deal with. I would buy ANYTHING he has to sell at any time, no questions. He described the bike to a "T". Great machine, love riding it.
Brian had quite the trip, about 10 minutes from where we were supposed to meet he got caught on the Howard Franklin bridge for 2 hours becuase of a fatal accident. This was only 15 minutes after I went over that same bridge. He stuck it out and was in still quite the nice guy after that .... I would have been so mad that I am not sure I would have wanted to talk to ANYONE.
We seem to see alot of negative things on the board at times, so I thought it would be good to post something positive!

I have NEVER complained about the cost of membership... What I paid is a small token of my apprecitation for what OSO does, as well as just the entertaiment value for me.

I must say, it was a PLEASURE to deal both with Chris & Brian. One response I had to a post a while back led to many emails, & 3 very happy people! I am always a little leary to deal over the internet, but it made meal feel a LOT better knowing I had seen Chrisk posting for well over a year. I am also one to never ever complain about the fee for a membership, & I think this is yet another prime example of how a measily $20, turned into much more for all 3 of us.
I am a little jeolous of seeing pic's of my bike w/ palmtree's in the background while I shovel the 2' of snow off of my sidewalks, but that is the way it goes some times.
Chrisk,
Please enjoy the bike as much as I did....I am sure you will & always be thinking of the other driver!!!
Aqua
P.S. If anyone is interesed in a '00 R1, PM me!

Thanks, Chris and Aqua for having me haul the bike down.
About 3 hours into the trip I was having second thoughts of the whole trip anyway due to the 3+ inches of unplowed snow on the highway for 100 miles or so. Then to get caught on that bridge for so long.
I must apologize if I came off like a dick when I dropped off the bike Chris. The traffic wasn't your fault. I always have a schedule, and when that schedule is interrupted, it adds stress.
It all worked out great though, once I reached my destination I felt the ton of bricks lifted off of my shoulders. After that, I knocked down a few cocktails and all was good.
Aqua, sell that R1!
I will be making another trip soon!
Chris, be careful on that bike and keep in touch. I am looking forward to hitting the water down there.
