Default First SCOPE Event of the YEAR!!! Catalina Brunch Run

Yes....the 2003 boating season is upon us!!! The first 2003 SCOPE event is this coming Saturday, March 1st. Come catch up with your friends, or come and meet some new ones! As always, all SCOPE events are open to everyone!

Here is an Event FLYER


We are planning on leaving the Huntington and Newport Harbors at 9:30AM sharp, and meeting just off from the power station south of Huntington Beach. Once gathered, we will leave for Avalon at 9:45 sharp! Be late and be left behind!

SCOPE Catalina Lunch Run
Saturday, March 1, 2003

9:30 SCOPE fleet leaves Newport and Huntington breakwater at 9:30
9:45 SCOPE fleet meets at the dry stacks off of Huntington Beach
9:50 Fleet departs to Catalina Island, Avalon Harbor
11:00 Meet at the base of the fishing pier in Avalon (next to Eric's burgers)
11:15 Members and guests meet at the Blue Parrot Restaurant for lunch (across from Big Olaf's )
1:00 Members and guests meet at Big Olaf's for ice cream.
2:00 SCOPE fleet meets outside harbor and departs for Newport/Huntington Harbors

The last I saw, there was a 50% chance for rain on Sat with temps around 66 degrees....By Fri we should have a pretty good idea of what the weather will be like on Sat..

Nort, as amazing as it sounds, I am actually running my boat in Long Beach on Friday. Then we will run with Kev on the Cig Saturday
