Last fall I put in a kenwood cd player and 4 speakers, better then what was in the boat. But I don't spend much time sitting in the boat to use it.
I would rather listen to 110+ decibles of SBC :D :D |
Indy- I like to listen to the sounds of the water, too...when I run out of gas!
Sony head unit w/ CD and MP3 XM Commander 2-MTX 4channel amps (1 for cabin, 1 for cockpit) 1-MTX 2channel amp (for subs) 4 sets of Clarion component speakers (16 speakers) 2 Clarion 10" subs and headphones for the driver. |
Dry Exhaust

Clarion marine head unit, clarion 6pack changer, two HiFonics 500 watt 2 channel amps, one driving two 10 in subs in boxes under the deck, the other driving 4 Planet audio 6.5" 2 ways. Far from the loudest boom boom system around but exceptionally well balanced and crystal clear. Never actually listen to it over idle speed though.

Here is the link to Andy Buzz's store. He is going to install a stereo in my boat this week. I will post some pictures after. Not quite sure how crazy I am going to get.
Andy does great work if your in the Tampa Bay area. Best of all is he is a fellow OSO'er and gives you a discount. He has done the audio/visiual stuff in my auto's for years. http://www.buzz-off.com/about_us.html J Mitch |
Update.... replaced the Kenwood head unit with a JVC with sub control. Sounds better than the Kenwood. It also has a much easier to use remote.
