Geez that's a lot of weight/speed loss Parn. The big question is this: is all that gonna stay PUT this time Parn????

You'll never catch Wickedwon with all that on board.

I'll never catch him anyways. The deal is that when we stop his wife will want to get on the fun boat.

BTW Foamed and thru bolted. Good r&d, if it stays put in my boat it will stay put in any boat. NK

That is pretty sick bro! How the hell do you power all of that? Are you changing out batteries everytime you run or what? No stock (or modified for that matter) altinator will push all of that!

Those Xtant amps are kick ass! I have one bridged to 1700watts pushing 12 12" subs in my suburban. Solid power.

1 comp VR 12
2 companent Kickers
2 Alpine 5 and a quarter
1 Alpine 5 channel 580 Watt
It runs my battery's down to chit in 20 -30 minutes. How do you guy's run all that power without a big generator or an AC connection?

Thanks. Love Xtant. I upgraded the alternators a bunch and went with four big gell batteries. Still it sucks em dry in a hurry. The system is setup as two different ones, cabin(diamond) and cockpit(xtant) so I never play them together. We figure at full volume with both systems rocking I would kill all four batteries in less than half an hour.

I just reread your comments and see 12 subs? Is it a a 1001 pushing those? I have one in my truck pushing 4 10" diamonds and it absolutely rocks. 12? Talk about sick. NK

Thumbs up Re: What type of stereo system do you have in your boat??

Clairon head unit CD XM satellite (marine unit)
600 watt Directed (4 channel) amp
1100 watt Directed (1100D) amp
3 pairs Diamond Audio 6 1/2 mids and 1" tweets (12 total)
2 12" TREO TSX Subs/sealed boxes under driver & passenger seats
2 Optima yellow tops/ need two more and beefed up alternators since sub amp is slowly draining a battery.

Gets the job done for me. 2001 Eliminator Daytona 28

Picture is before I added the subs under seats, but the Diamond Audio's are all clearly visible.

Who else thinks this to be true?? What are you guys running for stereos??

I myself am running a moderate system for the boat. 600 watts 12 speakers...two 12" subs (PPI), two amps (PPI), two sets of seperates (MB Quart), two stock speakers (for the cabin), Clarion deck. Going to do some upgrades here shortly
We have almost the same system!
2 sets of MB Quart 6x9's
2 sets 6.5 MB Quart
2 PPI 'Surfboards'
4 Fosgate HE 12 DVC Subs

It kills in my 30', I just sold her though so I get to do it all again in my new 34'

I'm putting 8 MB quart 6x9's, 2 JL w6 12" subs, 1 Hifonics Zeus and 1 Hifonics Brutis with Pioneer and XM radio. I was thinking of adding 4 6.5 inch. WHICH SHOULD GO WITH?
