I have to agree my father owns a 22 high standard and I would love to get my hands on it. I used to shoot it with him when we would go to the local pistol club here in syracuse and that gun was great. I was able to shoot and compair it to alot of other .22's and it out performed them by far

Nice pistol. I have one just like it. The guys with Rugers just hate it when I outshoot them. That said, I still like the Competition Series Ruger.

Get a 9mm Glock or Sig and get the 22 conversion kit. Then you have the best of both worlds. The conversion kits I've seen even come with threaded barrels for "accessories" ;)
