You guys with tunnel tabs. How are high are they mounted? Even with the top of the tunnel or1/2'' 3/4'' up?

Mike,
I will call Paul and get you the exact height,as for the safety of them, well lets just say that at 100 mph in pauls Skater with very little trim on the motors, just tabbing down the center tab a little we picked 8 mph went a little more and the boat got really loose and wanted to start sliding back and fourth, definitly went faster but there is a fine line so to everyone,BE CAREFULL.

thanks Bill that would be very helpful. I am trying to elimanate the porpise at cruise speed tryed ballest did nothing. Right at cruise speed 60mphto 75mph not so bad in rought water. but very pronounced in smooth water. It will run 80mph fine but thats just to fast most days.:frog:

all the ones i've seen are even w/bottom.when they're run positive or lower then the tunnel height, they are reducing the exaust area of the tunnel, the compressed air builds and lifts the trans. on mine, i'm gonna' put a tab indicator. i think its a must for this.to much like hyper said probly lifts it too far, and the props try to walk it side to side.
