I could use the cash quickly, can you file a 1040-A over the internet? If so, is it complicated???

I use Turbo Tax then file electronicly. It's pretty quick and paperless. I think the refund usually get's done in about a week.

I used Turbo Tax online last year. Don't remember what I paid.
Was real easy and user friendly. It walks you through every step and If you forget something you can go back and enter/update it. You can stop in the middle and return to work on it at a later date. Your return is stored on their system and you can reopen it any time during the year for reference.
I filed electronicly last year, didn't even have to send a hard copy to the IRS. I'll be using them again this year.

Yes. Last year I went to H&Rblock.com and filed through their website directly over the internet. I think it costs about $25-30 or the same as buying Turbo Tax, which is what I did the year before. It's easy, intuitive and was a no brainer. This year I plan to do the same...

Good luck!

What do you with your W-2?

Do you have to mail it in?

I've been using TurboTax for three years. It's quick, painless and has the benefits of pointing out things you may not normally think about. It's like 20 bux for the basic package and I usually get the check in like less than 2 weeks.

BTW, if you itemize the money you pay towards tax preperation is deductable.
