Steve:
Can I ask about another Miami builder on your thread? It's a small CC Builder - BH |
Cgarrett,
Different company. I do know of Carrera, Catera 's site is www.caterapowerboats.com thedonz, Thanks for the input. BH, No Problem, ask away! |
Thanks SteveS,
I think that I might be giving you a link to a site and I end up being the one who benifits by you posting about a boat line that I have not seen before. Things work in strange ways. Thanks, Cordell |
ok
Anybody know anything about Sea Strike Boats in Miami? Just wondering. A friend of mine is looking to purchase one - BH

They had one at the Miami Show- very good looking boat with very straight sides. It is a Mantex cored boat:= no wood construction. I didn't pay too much attention to it because it lacks the beam (8'4") that I think these boats need. More beam = easier to get around in the cockpit and past the console, as well as more storage space.
I'm also not sure if this is a self-draining cockpit boat, which IMHO is a must in this type of boat. The Monza gets my vote for all the ones I looked at there. Some definite offshore heritage (cigarette hull) and Richie Powers overseeing the construction. The Marlago (Jefferson Yachts) was also very nice. Jim |
The Catera looks nice, i've never heard of them tho. I'm not sure on that curved arch. Wardey
