I went with 5-6 months. My kids were born in Aug and Sept. so by the start of the next season they were about 6 months old. I don't think it matters though. You could porbably take a new born out as long as you keep the sun of them and it's not to hot. One more thing, I don't think you are supposed to put sunscreen on a baby for the first six month.

I voted for 5-6 months.
I think anything younger is too early. Especially 1-2 months.
The first time I took the grandson out on my jet-ski he was 2 years old. Was frightened at first but relaxed quickly. Last summer, at 3.5 yrs, we couldn't keep him off. We'll see what happens this year.

My daughter actually started at about -5 months but she had her first real ride on the outside at 1 month and 2 days. She has grown up in the boat and is extremely comfortable with it now. All she ever says is faster faster

11 days old with the first, second was about three months due to weather. This was 12 years ago before experts told us what to do. They have their own boat now but still like to ride with dad (better tunes and faster).

My son was 6 weeks old when we drove for 11 hours to Destin FL. to test drive my new boat and turn around the next day and tow it home. That was in Feb. and he went every time I went this past summer.
