"Never shake a baby". They play this 24 hours a day at the hospital after you have the kid. So I guess this holds true before you have it. No rides at Lake X for you.

Never asked the Dr. She boated with both kids. This one early on then winter came. The other one part of the summer. She did get a little sore one day on the ski nautique when the lake was real rough.

We only had a 23 foot boat both times my wife was pregnant and she was 3-6 months pregnant both summers. She did not want to chance it since even at lower speeds the boat can get pretty rough. I never pushed the issue so she just didn't go for those summers. And she did get out on a pontoon boat at my folks house-so that's something . If you have a larger, slower boat I don't think it would be that much of an issue. Just like drinking and smoking, it is probably better not to take the chance and not have any regrets later.

Oh.....NO JET SKIING!!!!!

Congrats and good luck.

My wife was overdue when we were on the boat!!!
we asked the doctor, and he said just be careful, no bumping. if your doctor says no, then he has concern for your condition, some are more risky pregnancies than others I guess.
when we rode while pregnant, i left the trim in, the tabs way down, and just putsed onto plane to get to our spot on the beach. it was tough for me to go slow. but we WERE on the boat.
go for a troll, or meet him somewhere, at least your outside, on the water. and bring the baby with a baby life jacket. they sleep great in the vbirth while anchored and wrapped in their life vest.

good luck
