OK, from what Im hearing the 800 only has it on the 600 on the top end. Because I ride mostly trails Im leaning towards the 600 for its lighter weight and agility. The 600 comes in two different models, a 600HO and a 600HO SDI. The SDI stands for Semi-Directional Injection, two injection points per cylinder. The performance gain isnt clear with the SDI anywhere from 0 to 10% depending on what you read. Its pitched as more efficient (25% better fuel economy per SkiDoo) and much cleaner (close to 4 stroke emitions also per SkiDoo). My concerns are these. $1000.00 option is alot of fuel to burn to make up $1000x2. Will the injection system hamper aftermarket companies from making performance accesories? Pipes and head work usually require fiddling with fuel flows ect. I know when Harley came first introduced the fuel injection on their bikes there were very few mods you could make because of it. Harley eventually got through it but Im not sure the snowmobile market has the same demands to drive that market. It also wasnt easy finding someone who could get power outta of my 502MAG while maintaning the injection. What do you guy's think, Im leaning pretty heavy toward the REV at this point and might order them this weekend if I can get this streight in my head.
Thanks for the input.
