GL :

Still have the same boat ?

So, what's the deal here ? How many guys / boats / friends boating around Mallets region ?

Sometimes we stay overnight at Plattsburg marina for dinner at Naked turtle. What about you guys?

I'll count on you to show me new places !

GL, tu me dois une bière de toute façon! ;-) (He owes me a beer)

So, it was a BUD ICE, 2 years of interest + US exchange at 1.5444 (current rate) + another .54412 (for fun) = 3 beers.

By the way, on what VHF channel are you playing. Hope it's not 69, every body's on that damned channel ! ;-)

JS.
Ok let's do this strategicaly...

"Still have the same boat ?" No sold the Baja Wednesday. Got THIS! earlier this year.

"So, what's the deal here ? How many guys / boats / friends boating around Mallets region ?" Enough to empty a couple 30 paks every day.

"Sometimes we stay overnight at Plattsburg marina for dinner at Naked turtle. What about you guys?" We have dinner at the Turtle pretty often usually we stay the nights at Thayers Beach where I met you a couple years ago. We have the course on GPS track and a couple 2 Million candle lights to get us across the lake after dinner, were not big on Marinas to many nice spots. There's a couple guys from St-Jean we like to hang with one has a Scarab 38 the other Scarab 29.

"I'll count on you to show me new places !" As soon as the Iceberg melts!!

"GL, tu me dois une bière de toute façon! ;-) (He owes me a beer)" Oui, I remember that.

"So, it was a BUD ICE, 2 years of interest + US exchange at 1.5444 (current rate) + another .54412 (for fun) = 3 beers." I always pay my debts.

"By the way, on what VHF channel are you playing. Hope it's not 69, every body's on that damned channel ! ;-)" VHF what the f%$ck is that this is a lake we use Cell phones!!!

JS if you feel like coming down for a night out give me a buzz 802-734-8284. Bring a case of Molson "Ex" or "Dry" from Duty Free and I'll take care of the dreaded exchange rate on your expenses here in the US

Take Care.

By the way, congrat. for your new buy. Cigarettes are grate !

So, who is «The mother of all bombs» here ? ;-) The fastest boat on that forum ?

Yes, I'll give you a buzz for shure... Water, sun, sound, speed, beer, wind and lots of boats : Is'nt what boating's all about?

Paul has 420's in his Scarab 38 it's a Kevlar edition and he can run it WOT all day. I'd say 68-70. It'll run that in the worst stuff on the lake too.
Yves has the Scarab 29 with a 525sc that is cleaner then when it came out of the factory he runs around 72.
Great guys down to earth and a blast to hang around with.

West from Burlington. One of those Mountains in the background is "WhiteFace" Lake Placid Winter Olympics 1980 & 1932 I think.

Man GL that last picture brings back some memories. Looks like that place has not changed much in the last few years. Still SO nice up there

All we need is a few thru hull exhausts to liven up the serenity.
