Trash Here is it in a nut shell (Being a nut a liberal hallmark) Read carefully .

The Liberal media would have us forget Jimmy Carter's presidential record.
But I won't.

Remember History Once again Carter's human rights program, where he demanded the Shah of Iran step down and turn over power to the Ayatollah Khomeini?

No matter that Khomeini was a madman. Carter had the U.S. Pentagon tell the Shah's top military commanders – about 150 of them – to acquiesce to the Ayatollah and not fight him.

The Shah's military listened to Carter. All of them were murdered in one of the Ayatollah's first acts.
By allowing the Shah to fall, Carter created one of the most militant anti-American dictatorships ever.

Soon the new Iranian government was ransacking our embassy and held hostage its staff for over a year. Only President Reagan's election gave Iran the impetus to release the hostages.

I believe Carter's decision to have the Shah fall is arguably the most egregious U.S. foreign policy mistake of the last 50 years.Only clintons decision not to receive Bin Laden from the Sudanis is in that league

With the Shah gone, the whole region was destabilized. The Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan; no doubt a direct link to the rise of the Taliban can be traced to this invasion. Iraq also took advantage of the Shah's departure to invade Iran. A long war followed that helped make Saddam's Iraq a great Middle Eastern power.

And decades after Carter's ignominious act, Iran is still bent on destroying America. President Bush named it one of the three nations in the "axis of evil." Iran is developing both nuclear weapons and the missiles to deliver these weapons to its enemies.

We can thank Jimmy Carter for all of this.

Now Prove me wrong !!

Since Carter left the presidency, he has had little to say about the human rights abuses in Iran. Why should he? Iran opposes the U.S.

North Korea and the Bumbling Liberals.

You like the Clinton/Clinton/Gore/Albright/Berger/Carter kneeling hand wringing appeasement policy toward the PLO, Iraq, North Korea, Cuba and terrorism in general as it was the most under-reported news item since 911

The please pretty please "can't we all just get along" Mentality has compromised our national and economic security forever in a ways we have yet to see or yet learn about; A pathetic legacy, and worthy of a Nobel Peace Prize.

Conservatives across the land next year, (2004), should run on this platform and include it as a major talking point....that the troubles we face overseas,

all of the dangers, are in large part due to eather the Carter or Clinton Administration mismanagement and naivety (and thirst to strike a deal to wash away the stain of Monica) when dealing with rogue nations who are now at our throat.

I would call every Democratic candidate on the carpet with these allegations in every campaign debate and radio/newspaper ad.

The attempt to blame the current state of affairs on Bush's "axis of evil" speech is cowardly Liberal blame-shifting of the worst sort. It is holding the solution responsible for the problem.

Clinton's coddling of dictators with a yearning for Weapons of Mass Destruction got us here. But North Korea is only one bloom from the seeds planted during his tenure as Commander-in-Chief, when he forged what one critic called an "astonishing reversal of nine previous U.S. administrations" and their refusal to negotiate with terrorists.

It is a dangerous world, and one cannot imagine what future dictators will expect to negotiate for during future incidences of nuclear blackmail. Provided they are interested in negotiating at all.

Did you catch that Cash ????

North Korea Trash you mentioned it ??

Here you go:

Under the final terms of the Agreed Framework approved in October of 1994, Clinton agreed to provide the "Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea" (DPRK) with two light water nuclear reactors and a massive allotment of oil.

The U.S. agreed to ship 500,000 metric tons of oil annually in response to the North's pretense that the energy-starved backwater had developed the nuclear facility to generate power. T
hese shipments have cost taxpayers more than $800 million to date - a bargain compared with the $6 billion spent on constructing the nuclear reactors, which now empower North Korea to produce 100 nuclear bombs each year

What a Jerk !!!!!!!!!

More on the Carter Clinton Korea fiascio

In August 1998, North Korea lobbed a Taepo Dong 1 missile over Japan. Four months later, officials refused U.S. inspectors access to a suspected underground nuclear reactor at Kumchang-ni. President

Get this : Clinton then sweetened the deal by rewarding Kim Jong Il's half-year-long stall tactics with 1.1 million tons of food worth nearly $200 million. Not surprisingly, American inspectors found no signs of wrongdoing at the long-sanitized facility.

At the time Kim Jong il probably figured that, if the best the Clinton State Dept. can do is Madaline Halfbright, we're probably in sorry shape!

Dude...You trying to blame Carter for 9-11 is a joke

Why the Iran rant...?...The US has installed many evil people into power

Saddam took power after the Shah fell....Al'Quaida was founded 10 years later

Sure the fall of the Shah was a setback to American policy....But it had nothing to do with 9-11

Bush sr. was the man who armed Saddam...he was the one who stuck the American taxpayer with the 2 billion dollar bill...Top Administration officials at the time warned Bush that Saddam was using the money to further his nuclear program...But Bush didn't listen..Why would Bush Sr. want Saddam to own nuclear weapons...?

Bush Sr. also pulled Iraq off the list of states that sponser terrorism....in spite of the facts that it was a Iraq based group that masterminded the assassination attempt on Israeli ambassador to the UK in 82...Also the terrorist who masterminded the attack on the Achille Lauro and the savage murder of American Leon Klighoffer fled with Iraqi assistance...nor did it matter that the team of terrorists that planned to blow up the Rome airport came from Baghdad with suitcase bombs...If you listen to Jr. you will hear him say "you are either with us or you are with the terrorists"...seems his daddy was with the terrorists
