When I raced f3 we raced against Hooters etc. Our 36 skater beat them in smooth and rough water.

I think the F-2 Boats would have their hands full. In SBI Superstock Gary is all over the F-2 Boats and the SCL boats on lap times and in the corners.

I have not read the article yet but I would bet that Gary is referring to running inboard cats, probably with 500's (old F3 Class) against the outboards as speed is similar on top end. This was done in 1994 or 1995 I believe in USO. I think they combined what was then the P and C classes. P was Pro-Stock and C was inboards with specific engine specifications and weight.

Pro Stock cats run against Inboard cat. Lets say the old F-3 class compete with the F-4 class.
