My wife is just getting comfortable driving the boat. She has always been nervous about driving it. She was always worried about breaking or scratching it. I finally convinced her that it was a safety issue. She got pretty comfortable with it last year and drove it solo a couple times last year at LOTO from the ramp to the condo after we launched it. No one else there to do it so she had to drive the boat or the truck and trailer.
You should have seen the big on her face after she drove it alone the first time. She said she never in her life had so many guys staring at her as when she was cruising along at LOTO by herself.
Docking is still a little difficult for her and she has trouble in tight spots. It is a tough boat to drive it tight spaces. Single engine with dual ram add on hydraulic steering makes it hard to turn at idle.
